I love being single. I didn’t at first but it’s something that I’ve got used to as time has gone on, and now, the idea of being trapped in a relationship with someone and having to think about the needs of the other person really doesn’t appeal to me at all. I can make my own decisions and go where I want, when I want, without being questioned. I used to hate that before when I had a girlfriend. The down side to being single though is the lack of conversation and company when you need it most. I have phone sex once or twice a week but that’s not the same as sitting down with someone and getting intimate with them. I also miss being with a partner at Christmas and on my birthday but I suppose that’s only natural and it only lasts for a day.
